About
You arrived at the weblog of Geert Baeke. I am the technology manager for a company called Xylos (Belgium). I mostly work with Microsoft technologies such as Windows, Active Directory, Exchange, Sharepoint, MSCS, and more. I am also actively busy with VMware's products, focussing on VMware ESX.

It works with Microsoft's iSCSI initiator. No problem there. You should see OpenFiler as an appliance. It's more or less the same as buying a hardware appliance with a web front-end to configure it.
Otherwise, you could use Windows Storage Server with iSCSI extensions like provided by vendors such as HP. Of course, then there is a bigger price tag involved.
